Miami Beach Police Department Retirees...
...was formed in the 1990s to serve as a way for the men and women of the force on "The Beach" to keep in touch with each other after they leave the active roster. In addition to regular social and business meetings, the organization publishes a monthly newsletter, hosts an annual meeting, participates in regional and national activities and prints a membership directory each year.
This website was created by Jack Tighe (who also serves as the "MBPD Retirees" newsletter editor) to provide another way for its members to read the newsletter, search the directory and continue a dialogue with other MBPD members.
